As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will implement AgeCare policies and collaborate with the Registered Nurse to ensure residents’ needs are met. Your input will help shape care procedures, and you'll coordinate with physicians and health care teams. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact while supporting a diverse team dedicated to fostering respect and trust.
Key Responsibilities: • Implement care policies and procedures on the unit • Liaise with healthcare professionals and partners • Notify physicians of significant resident changes • Provide direction to Personal Support Workers • Participate in shift reports to share resident updates
Requirements: • Knowledge in geriatric or long-term care nursing • Current Certificate of Competence in Ontario • Familiarity with relevant health care legislation • Solid communication and teamwork skills • Commitment to compassionate, quality care
