Relay is looking for an experienced analyst with at least 2 years of transaction monitoring in banking or fintech. You'll review transactions, make hold/release calls, and detect unusual patterns, ensuring the safety of our 321,000+ small business clients. Your critical thinking will directly impact Relay’s mission of supporting small businesses by enhancing financial visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate suspicious activities across deposits, checks, and transactions
• Make informed hold/release decisions based on verification
• Detect and document patterns of abnormal financial behavior
• Collaborate with Compliance and Product teams to resolve cases
• Suggest improvements to fraud detection rules
Requirements:
• 2+ years in transaction monitoring at bank or fintech
• Proven decision-making skills on financial transactions
• Curious, investigative mindset with a problem-solving approach
• Experience with AI tools in risk analysis
• Explicit documentation and communication skills
