ResponsibilitiesSafely work with an Operations crew to move railcars during switching, yard movements, and travel to customer facilities or interchanges; Communicate professionally with customers, crew members, and railway partners to support safe operations; Represent BWRS through a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and operational reliability; Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability in the workplace; Observe hand and radio signals in the yard in accordance with railroad rules and regulations; Operate track switches as needed; Perform procedures required to couple/uncouple rail cars; Apply hand brakes onrail cars not in active use; andEnsure proper permissions and authorities are obtained.QualificationsMinimum grade 12 diploma completion or GED equivalent; Must have experienceas a Conductor; Must be in positive physical condition; andMust have a clean and valid BC driver’s license, Class 5 minimum.#J-18808-Ljbffr
