Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities, preventing theft or damage, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and proactive security measures are essential.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to oversee all areas of the premises
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations
- Assist visitors and staff with inquiries while ensuring access control protocols are followed
- Conduct loss prevention activities by identifying potential security breaches or theft risks
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement security strategies

Qualifications

- Prior experience in law enforcement,



security, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
- Robust understanding of loss prevention techniques and security protocols
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for effective reporting and interaction with team members and the public
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
