Enjoy Monday-Friday daytime shifts without nights or weekends.This position requires a motivated RN with at least one year of experience in parenteral conscious sedation. You'll provide important nursing services in a dental clinic setting, managing sedation and ensuring patient safety. Your role is crucial in supporting patient recovery and discharge after procedures, as part of a collaborative dental team.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential pre-operative nursing and education
- Initiate and oversee conscious sedation procedures
- Monitor patients' cardiac and respiratory health
- Recognize post-operative complications and address needs
- Discharge patients in secure conditions post-procedureRequirements:
- RN Diploma or Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited institution
- Current provincial RN license and BLS certification
- Valid ACLS certification in accordance with guidelines
- Minimum of 1 year experience in sedation nursing
