About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Financial Reporting & Accounting to join their team. This executive-level role is pivotal in providing strategic financial leadership and oversight of all financial activities within the Canadian business. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, controllership, treasury, financing, taxation, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and financial systems. Acting as a senior finance leader, the VP will also be a key business partner, offering financial insight to support strategic decisions, leading process improvements, and ensuring the development of a high-performing finance and accounting team.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a CPA designation, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field,



and a minimum of 12-15 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. Robust experience in financial management areas such as reporting, controllership, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and taxation is essential. The role requires a proven track record in engaging with executives, ownership groups, lenders, auditors, and external advisors, as well as a demonstrated ability in leading process improvement and finance transformation initiatives. Experience in real estate, asset-intensive businesses, or complex multi-entity organizations is a significant asset. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and be adept at maintaining strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.
