The part-time Building Operator will engage in various tasks, including preventative maintenance and addressing repair needs on-site. This position involves up to 25 hours of work per week, extending to evenings and weekends. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all mechanical systems, particularly HVAC and pools, function effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate mechanical systems, including the pool and HVAC
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance efficiently
• Handle minor electrical, plumbing,



and carpentry repairs
• Assess daily repair and safety needs
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner
Requirements:
• Building Operator B ticket or 5th Class Steam Engineers certification
• Pool Operator Level I is considered an asset
• Intermediate First Aid/CPR/AED Certification is required
• Recreational building maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends
