As a key member of Lyft’s Hardware Manufacturing & Quality team, you will design and manage test systems critical for quality assurance. Your experience will be utilized to create automation scripts, troubleshoot issues on the production line, and validate product performance against stringent safety standards. This role combines technical engineering skills with hands-on production support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own design and architecture of manufacturing test systems • Write scripts for automated testing and data capture • Validate electronic PCBs and electrical systems • Diagnose production line failures and implement fixes • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers and vendors
Requirements: • Engineering degree in relevant field • Experience with scripting languages for automated tests • Knowledge of hardware test tools and equipment • Proven troubleshooting skills in manufacturing • Familiarity with firmware testing and embedded systems
