The position also provides backup support to HR leadership to ensure continuity of HR services across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition (Primary Focus)Manage full-cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, and corporate rolesDraft, edit, and post job descriptionsPartner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and prioritiesConduct resume screening and interviewsCoordinate interview processes and candidate experienceComplete reference checks and background screeningPrepare offer letters and support the offer processSupport employer branding and recruitment initiativesHR Operations & Employee LifecycleServe as a first point of contact for HR inquiriesCoordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboardingMaintain accurate and confidential employee records and HRIS dataSupport employee relations matters and follow-upPrepare HR documentation (letters, forms, communications)Assist with advantages administration and employee programsProjects & Continuous ImprovementSupport development of HR policies and best practicesAssist with HR projects and training initiativesConduct research into employment standards and HR trendsEnsure compliance with legislation and internal processesHealth & SafetySupport coordination of training and record maintenanceParticipate in safety-related initiativesLeadership Support & CoverageProvide backup support to the Interim HR DirectorSupport performance management and employee engagement initiativesAssist in maintaining effective HR programs aligned with business needsBe an active member and participant of the firm’s: DEI, Wellness and Social CommitteeQualifications & Experience5 years of progressive HR experienceStrong full-cycle recruitment experiencePost‑secondary education in Human Resources or related fieldCHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) considered an assetStrong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practicesExperience with HRIS and Microsoft OfficeOur MissionWe are problem solvers.
