This position entails responsibility for direct participant support at the Overnight Warming Shelter. As the Overnight Drop-In Support Mentor, you will guide program participants, maintain safety protocols, and build supportive relationships. The role requires collaborative work with the Participant Care Team and effective communication with external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer direct support to warming shelter participants
• Build positive relationships and foster a supportive atmosphere
• Monitor crisis situations and respond effectively




• Maintain cleanliness and safety in designated areas
• Document daily occurrences and communicate with the team
Requirements:
• Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check
• First Aid Level 1 and CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Open to feedback and collaborative learning
• Ability to work adaptively in challenging situations
