About the RoleAs a Counsellor at FIREFLY, you will play a vital role supporting the mental health and well‑being of children, youth, and families across Northwestern Ontario. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will provide individual, family, and group counselling services using evidence‑informed, culturally safe, and client‑centered approaches.Complete clinical assessments, develop intervention plans, and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to client and family needsCollaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members, community partners, and service providers to support integrated careDeliver services in a variety of settings including in‑office, schools, community locations, and virtuallyMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency and ministry standardsParticipate in ongoing professional development, clinical supervision, and reflective practiceContribute to service planning, program development, and quality improvement initiativesThis full‑time position is based in either Dryden, ON or Sioux Lookout, ON, with travel required throughout the region to support clients and attend team or community meetings. Some evening and weekend work is required.
