As a key member of the Assisted Living team at Sun Pointe Village, your focus will be on delivering person-centered care. Assisting residents with daily tasks such as medication reminders and bathing is essential, alongside fostering warm relationships and collaboration within the team. You will also engage in professional development and uphold safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver delegated care tasks to residents as required
• Assist during residents' meal service for comfort
• Administer medications in accordance with policies




• Document observations and update care plans regularly
• Maintain cleanliness of resident areas and common spaces
Requirements:
• Resident Care Aide Certificate from an accredited institution
• Current BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker registration
• Medication Administration Certificate or equivalent
• Current Food Safe and First Aid Certificates
• Preferably 1 year of care experience
