As a Community Advisor, you'll act as a leader, mentor, and resource for Residence Life Staff and students. Your responsibilities will include creating a protected atmosphere and addressing community needs through organized educational programs. This is an excellent opportunity to prepare for a professional career in Residence Life, with a commitment of 40-44 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate educational and social programs for residents
• Engage in regular meetings and training sessions
• Respond to student queries and provide support
• Model community standards and expectations effectively
• Document incidents and assist during emergencies
Requirements:
• Exceptional verbal communication skills are essential
• Experience in a leadership capacity is valuable
• Must hold 'Standard First Aid' & CPR Level “C” certification
• A valid Criminal Record Check will be required
• Proven positive impact on the residence community
