Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will perform engineering assessments, develop practical solutions for complex site conditions, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business growth while ensuring high-quality service delivery and technical excellence.Your Impact:Perform Geotechnical engineering evaluations (e.G., soil and bedrock engineering design, slope stability analysis, earth retention systems, excavation,



dewatering and shoring.)Schedule assessments and meetings with clients/contractorsAssign work to field staff as appropriate depending on workloads and in conjunction with the other Senior ManagersPrepare contract documents, proposals, and reportsProvide clients with advice on appropriate regulations and guidelinesMentor, train and supervise junior field staffReview written work of technical staff and provide feedback and guidance when neededMeet with clients to determine project requirementsBusiness development and marketing to new and existing clientsWhat You’ll Bring to PinchinUniversity degree in Geotechnical, Civil or Geological Engineering or related degree and experience3+ years’ experience in a geotechnical engineering roleA Professional Engineering Designation or an Engineer in Training eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta within the next year.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), as well as geotechnical engineering software (slope stability, seepage, finite element programs, etc.)Able to work closely with our project teams across the company where geotechnical support may be of assistance, such as Environmental Due Diligence and Remediation and Building SciencesThe ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff,
