Role OverviewABS Global, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity for a Genetic Services Specialist / Distribution Specialist located in Elmira, Ontario, Canada. This role supports both genetic services and distribution operations, providing technical expertise, logistical coordination, and customer support to maximize the value of ABS genetic solutions.You will receive training and support from experienced team members and have the opportunity to develop expertise in genetic management systems, data processing, and customer‑facing advisory services.Key ResponsibilitiesDistribution & Operational SupportSupport semen order fulfillment, including shipping, receiving, and inventory managementWork within systems (e.G., Dynamics 365) to manage orders, inventory, and logisticsHandle nitrogen tank processes and troubleshoot shipping or inventory discrepanciesPerform warehouse duties, cycle counts, and SOP updatesAssist with office coverage during peak shipment periods and team absencesGenetic Services SupportProcess Genetic Management System (GMS) data for sales teams and customers in a timely and accurate mannerUtilize systems such as GMS, DC305, CDN, and Holstein Canada to support genetic program executionProvide ongoing support for internal genetic services operations and reportingAssist in maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date herd and genetic dataCustomer & Sales SupportVisit assigned customers (as needed)



to support genetic and reproductive program implementationAssist customers in making informed decisions using ABS genetic tools and solutionsSupport sales team efforts by contributing to customer engagement and service deliveryCollaborate with internal teams and advisors to ensure alignment on customer needsGeneral ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain professional relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholdersRepresent ABS Global in alignment with company values and service expectationsAdhere to all health, safety, and operational standardsSeek opportunities to learn and develop new skills within genetic services and operationsPerform additional duties and projects as assignedRequirementsRelevant experience in dairy farming, agriculture, or livestock operations preferredStrong interest or exposure to animal genetics, reproduction, or herd managementAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail, particularly with data entry and reportingExcellent communication and organizational skillsValid driver’s license requiredAbility to travel locally as neededEqual Employment OpportunityGenus is an equal‑chance employer.
