Support aerospace standards as a Senior Engineer Electromagnetic Compatibility in Mississauga, Ontario. This contract position is focused on ensuring aircraft system compliance with EMC regulations. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for the electromagnetic safety of aircraft systems and develop compliance strategies against EMI, Lightning Effects, and more.
You’ll execute complex EMC assignments and work closely with engineering teams throughout the aircraft lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
Lead EMC compliance assessments and strategy development
Perform technical analyses and EMC simulations
Oversee preparation of EMC test procedures and reports
Coordinate aircraft-level EMC testing activities
Mentor junior engineers and support team improvement initiatives
Requirements:
8+ years in Aerospace EMC Qualification/Certification
Knowledge in EMI, HIRF, and ESD protection techniques
Familiarity with aerospace regulations such as RTCA DO-160
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Proven problem-solving and communication skills
