As a Metallurgy Co-op Intern, you’ll report to the Senior Metallurgist in the Process Plant Department.
Your responsibilities include routine lab tasks, conducting sampling, and creating metallurgical models from data you analyze. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining high safety and environmental standards, ensuring all operational goals are met. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily lab operations in metallurgy
Perform sampling for analysis in processes
Monitor samplers and report findings
Analyze data to optimize metallurgical processes
Ensure instrument accuracy and perform maintenance Requirements:
Enrolled in a degree with a metallurgy focus
Must participate in your university's Co-op program
