Accountancy Assistants are responsible for assisting in the provision of a comprehensive Accountancy Service to all areas of the Council.

Assistants deliver training on the use of the Council’s General Ledger. Annual Accounts Revenue Budget Monitoring Statistical Returns and Grant Claims Capital Accounting, Loans Pool Accounting and Income Assessments General Ledger Training A proven UK accountancy work experience ~3 SQA Highers at level 3 or above including Maths or equivalent. ~ Working knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office software and computerised ledger systems. ~ Versatile attitude to work allocation. ~ Ability to accurately record data. ~ Ability to work in an open plan office/ homeworking. ~ 17.37 per hour
