Make a difference with Winnipeg Regional Health Authority as a Rehabilitation Counsellor in Winnipeg. This in-person position focuses on providing essential counselling and treatment services to individuals affected by addiction. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, you will be part of the Community Addictions Services team. Your primary responsibilities include conducting assessments, crafting treatment plans, and facilitating educational programs.

Skills in motivational interviewing and the ability to work with culturally diverse clients are critical for this role. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct intake assessments and create personalized treatment plans
Provide counselling for individuals, couples, and families




Educate clients and the community about addiction recovery
Work collaboratively with other specialists for case management
Document treatment outcomes and maintain client records

Requirements:
Bachelor's in Social Sciences or relevant counseling diploma
Minimum of two years of supervised counselling experience
Knowledge of the addictions field is preferred
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
English fluency required; Indigenous languages a plus
