What you will do
Prevent shoplifter theft in a retail environment while providing customer service to clients, patrons and customers.
Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage.
Confront individuals you suspect of theft,
who have unpaid merchandise.
Escort trespassers out of the client premises.
Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise
Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations.
Escalate situation to law enforcement as required.
Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner.
The Ideal Candidate
A Valid British Columbia Security License is required
Previous security experience in a retail workplace
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, is required
Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills
Ability to work without close supervision
A keen interest in asset protection and crime prevention
