THE ROLE
As part of Alimentation Couche-Tard’s Operational Accounting team, the Reconciliation Accounting Analyst will provide accounting support services to the stores under his/her responsibility.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Prepare reconciliations of general ledger accounts related to payment methods accepted in store;
Cash deposits
Debit/Credit Cards
Oil Debit/Credit Cards
Oil Promotions & Discount Coupons
Prepaid Cards & Gift Cards
Book GL entries for payment discrepancies (short & over);
Responsible for explaining and justifying the various discrepancies related to the payment methods appearing on the periodic billing of certain stores.
Book entries for bank deposits, bank fees, card fees and equipment fees and bank chargebacks
Participate in the continuous improvement of the processes used in the position.
Provide support to store managers and coordinators as well as the accounting team. Recommend and participate in the implementation of measures to improve and optimize processes and controls;
