Overview
We are looking for a friendly, energetic and motivated person to join our team. This is a hands on role in a busy market cafe environment. You will be responsible for food preparation, serving customers, accepting deliveries, and stocking shelves. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, experience in the food industry, and a solid commitment to food safety and cleanliness. This position offers an excellent chance to develop culinary skills and gain valuable kitchen experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
Assist in meal preparation and food assembly to support kitchen operations
Prepare ingredients, in a timely and efficient manner while working alone at times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, including washing dishes and utensils
Handle food safely according to established health and safety standards
Support food service activities, including serving customers
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels





Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service is a must
Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices
Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards within the food industry
Robust attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team and independantly
Willingness to learn new skills and take on various kitchen duties as needed
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
