About the Project
SIM Property Management Inc. and Mayfair Living are seeking an experienced painter or painting contractor for a large-scale interior and exterior painting project across our residential apartment buildings and retirement home in Windsor, Ontario.
This is a significant project and we are looking for someone who can commit for the duration, deliver high quality work, and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Scope of Work
Interior painting of common areas including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, and common rooms
Painting of unit doors — uniform colour scheme across all floors
Exterior painting as required
Surface preparation including cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming before painting
Application of primer and paint — walls, ceilings, trims, and doors
Ensuring clean and tidy worksite at all times
Coordinating access with building management and residents
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or residential painting
Experience with large-scale multi-unit or multi-floor projects preferred
Own tools and equipment — sprayer, rollers, brushes, ladders
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
Must be available for the full duration of the project
References from previous commercial or residential painting projects required
What We Offer
$22–$25 per hour based on experience
Consistent full-time hours for the duration of the project
Potential for ongoing work across our growing portfolio of properties across Ontario
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
