Overview
We are seeking a energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The position is for weekends with flexible on-site shifts (Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 6pm). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, some knowledge of wine, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting prospect to engage with customers, demonstrate products, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain merchandising standards and organize product displays to attract customers




Manage inventory levels and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Utilize communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new arrivals, and store policies

Skills
Some knowledge of wine and/or spirits
Robust organizational skills for merchandising and inventory management
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service
Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining a positive customer experience
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail operations is preferred

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
