Kitchen Team Member / Grill Cook

South St. Burger Co. – Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre

Job Type: Part-Time / Full time, Year-Round
Pay: $17.60–$19.00 per hour

Weekend Availability Is Mandatory

Applicants must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays as scheduled. Flexible weekday availability and the ability to work opening and/or closing shifts are also required.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking team members who can thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding restaurant workplace. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, punctual and able to remain calm during busy periods.

Responsibilities
Grill burgers and other menu items according to company standards
Cut, prepare and cook potatoes
Prepare and properly store food products
Receive, lift and organize food and supply deliveries
Maintain sufficient stock for the current and upcoming shifts
Clean grills, kitchen equipment, counters and work areas
Wash dishes and other kitchen tools
Sweep and mop floors
Complete opening and closing duties
Assist with food dressing,



order preparation or cashier duties when needed
Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety procedures

Requirements
Must be available to work weekends
Must be able to work opening and/or closing shifts
Able to stand for extended periods in a busy kitchen environment
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Able to multitask and work efficiently as part of a team
Friendly, polite and professional attitude
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required—training will be provided

Schedule
Weekday and weekend shifts
Day and evening shifts
Opening and closing shifts
Approximately 4–8 hours per shift
