Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Class 5 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently across various locations. Your focus will be on ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining excellent customer service, and adhering to all safety regulations. Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety standards
Assist with moving and loading cargo, including heavy lifting tasks, using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition and report any issues promptly
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical challenges
Support warehouse operations by handling the movement of goods within the facility using forklifts or manual labor as required
Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and complete,



including delivery logs and receipt confirmations
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with clients and team members

Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 5 license or equivalent certification
Robust knowledge of safe driving practices, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with customers, team members, and supervisors
Experience working in a warehouse workplace or handling logistics operations is preferred
Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus, along with relevant certification if available
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to safety and customer service

Pay: $20.75-$21.00 per hour
