We are patient-focused dental clinic and we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, compassionate care. We are looking for an energetic, qualified, and dedicated Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our team-oriented team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform intra-oral duties including mechanical coronal polishing, sealant placement, and topical anesthesia application.
Assist the dentist chairside during comprehensive restorative, cosmetic, and surgical procedures.
Take, process, and mount accurate diagnostic digital dental radiographs.
Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to strict IPAC standards.
Take preliminary impressions and pour/trim study models.
Provide post-operative instructions and personalized oral health education to patients.
Manage clinical inventory, order supplies, and maintain accurate electronic patient charts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Successful completion of an accredited Level 2 Dental Assisting program.
Current provincial registration and HARP certification.
Strong clinical knowledge of dental materials, isolation techniques, and procedures.
Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to ease patient anxiety.
Valid CPR certification.
Experience with Tracker dental software is considered a robust asset.
