Assistant Manager – Jewellery Retail (Sales & Team Lead Focus)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a strong salesperson who is ready to take the next step into leadership. You will play a key role in driving sales while supporting day-to-day team operations and helping guide staff on the sales floor.
Part-time and full time opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service and create a premium in-store experience
Assist customers with product selection, styling, and purchases
Consistently achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets
Support the Store Manager in daily operations and opening/closing procedures
Provide leadership on the sales floor by coaching, motivating, and supporting team members
Help onboard and train new staff in product knowledge and sales techniques
Monitor team performance and lead by example to drive results
Maintain visual merchandising standards and a clean, organized store environment
Handle transactions accurately using POS systems
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of retail sales experience (jewellery experience is a strong asset)
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
Previous leadership, keyholder,
or supervisory experience is an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Natural ability to motivate others and foster a positive team setting
Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $20-$25, based on experience
1% commission on sales

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
Shifts: 4, 8, or 10-hour shifts (morning, day, afternoon)
Work days: Weekdays, weekends as needed, and holidays
