Mink Chocolates is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual Barista and Packaging role. This position offers a great mix of customer interaction and behind-the-scenes chocolate work — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing things well. We will be looking for part time maternity cover from October 1st until December 24th, with the possibility of extension.
What You’ll Do:
As a Barista:
Prepare and serve espresso drinks, hot chocolates, and other café beverages to Mink’s high standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café space.
Provide friendly, attentive customer service.
As a Packaging Assistant:
Hand-package chocolate bars, truffles, bonbons, and confectionery with care and accuracy
Label, box, and organize products for retail and wholesale orders
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the production area & cafe.
What We’re Looking For:
Barista experience required — Packaging training provided
Robust attention to detail and commitment to high quality
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commute daily to 8410 Ontario St, Vancouver
Able to work on your feet and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
Positive attitude, valuable communication skills, and willingness to learn
