Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen helper. This role involves preparing and serving food in a quick-paced take out/catering setting, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
Assist with food presentation and plating to meet quality standards
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock rotation as needed
Support team members during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations
Skills
Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and the food industry best practices
Kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
