Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Geophysicist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing geophysical data, conducting research, and supporting exploration and environmental projects. Duties
Collect, process, and analyze geophysical data using electromagnetic, magnetic, and radiometric technologies
Develop and implement data collection strategies for field surveys and R+D initiatives
Conduct research to interpret geophysical data, support exploration activities, and develop new methods and technologies
Utilize specialized geophysical software such as Geosoft, Maxwell, and Geoscience Analyst to visualize spatial data and create detailed maps and sections
Apply programming languages such as Python and C++ for data processing, modeling, and analysis
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design surveys and interpret results
Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and scientific papers
Ensure adherence to safety protocols
Experience and Skills
Degree in geophysics, physics, or math; MSc or PhD preferred but not required
Proven experience in data analysis, collection, and interpretation
Solid analytical skills with the ability to handle large datasets efficiently
Proficiency with Geosoft and programming languages including C++ and Python
Experience with geophysical survey techniques including magnetic or electromagnetic methods is a plus
Good communicator in English
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities
Pay: $70,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
