Cold Shot is currently looking for a Dispatcher for our Edmonton location. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, and supporting the freight and operations team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Job Duties
Create, schedule, and dispatch pickup and delivery orders
Coordinate shipments with drivers and ensure timely deliveries
Communicate with the operations and support team to resolve delivery or routing issues
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
Work with the freight team to ensure shipments are placed in the correct location.
Monitor daily shipments and update order status in the system
Collaborate with drivers, operations staff, and other departments to ensure smooth service
Follow company procedures and safety policies
Complete tasks listed on the daily operations checklist




Notify management of any reliable issues.

Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1–2 years of dispatch, or customer service experience preferred
Previous experience in the transport or logistics industry is an asset
Qualified appearance and good interpersonal skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or stressful situations
Team player with strong customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour
