Step into the role of Environmental Sustainability Coordinator within Grey County's Climate Initiatives team. Lead projects aimed at enhancing sustainability practices and reducing climate impact.
This full-time position in the CAO’s Office requires a strategic approach to corporate sustainability initiatives. You will facilitate interdepartmental collaborations, analyze energy consumption, and develop community climate action plans. Your work will fundamentally support the transition towards efficient energy use across the County.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile and analyze building energy data for improvements • Report on sustainability performance to Council and senior management • Create strategies for operational changes impacting energy use • Develop funding applications for climate initiatives • Engage community during sustainability program implementations
Requirements: • Degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role • Solid understanding of energy data management • Robust analytical and verbal communication skills • Must hold a valid driver’s license
