Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring quick and correct entry
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance the guest experience
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, food handling, and service stations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal,
addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards in the restaurant industry
Requirements
Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
Ability to perform basic math for billing, tipping, and cash handling tasks accurately
Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality setting
