We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) to support the development and well-being of young children in an educational setting. As an ECA, you will work closely with teachers and caregivers to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging workplace that promotes early childhood growth. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive learning experiences for children while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the day.
Duties
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning.
Support children with activities that encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times.
Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean setting.
Provide caregiving support by attending to children’s basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and comforting.
Observe and document children’s progress,
sharing insights with teachers and parents as appropriate.
Foster positive interactions among children to promote inclusivity, respect, and cooperation.
Requirements
Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood education settings.
Strong understanding of caregiving practices relevant to early childhood development.
Passion for teaching and supporting children’s growth through engaging activities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic educational environment.
Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues clearly and positively.
Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating a protected and nurturing space for all children.
Infant Program and Preschool Program 9 am - 6:00 pm
$21.00 per hour ( All Government Wages included)
Pay: $21.00 per hour
