Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team Which can also lead to a promotion in a supervisor/managerial role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts, particularly in pizza preparation, and will be responsible for creating delicious, high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant's standards. This role requires a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
Assist with meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Experience
Previous experience in a cooking role within the food industry is required, particularly in a restaurant setting.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety guidelines is essential.
Experience with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation.
Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others in the kitchen environment.
