Komoka Massage Therapy is looking for a reliable, conscientious RMT with a great work ethic to join our very busy, beautiful clinic in Komoka. We are a client focused, well established clinic with a lot to offer. We provide on site laundry, linens, new electric tables and windows in each room. We offer a competitive split with a cap and a signing bonus. Part time or full time hours are available with a lot of flexibility in your schedule. Professionalism and excellent communication skills are required. Must be in good standing with the CMTO, new graduates are welcome to apply!
Duties
Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and therapeutic massages.
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history and progress notes, while ensuring confidentiality.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care practices to enhance their wellness journey.
Ensure a clean, secure, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques to continually improve skills.
Skills
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
Excellent customer service abilities to create a positive experience for each client.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology to ensure safe practices during treatments.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated in individual tasks.
Proficiency in various massage techniques and an understanding of body mechanics.
