We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to join our dental office team at Kiddo Dental. We are searching for someone who has worked in a dental office setting & who is familiar with dental software, such as Abeldent, and Quickbooks . This vital role involves helping to assist with the management of financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring the accuracy of all bookkeeping activities. Duties
Maintain and update financial records using Quickbooks
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Perform bank & credit card reconciliations
Assist with payroll processing
Manage day to day emails, insurances, memberships, rental property management
Assist in verifications of day end reports & more.
Experience
Previous experience with bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, is highly desirable
Some understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Knowledge of payroll procedures and related compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze accounts critically
Ability to work onsite in a quick-paced workplace while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
