Duties
Assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing patient treatment plans and therapy sessions
Support patients with exercises, stretches, and mobility activities under supervision
Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment records
Help manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments efficiently
Educate patients on post-treatment care routines and home exercises to promote recovery
Skills
Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
Experience with acute care settings, demonstrating ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare professionals
Compassionate approach with a focus on delivering patient-centered care
Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times
