Job Overview

Our busy cardiology clinic in Calgary is seeking a detail-oriented and professional HR Coordinator to support daily human resources and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee support within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling
Prepare employment offers, contracts, and onboarding documentation
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
Track employee credentials, certifications, and required compliance documents
Assist with payroll administration (employee changes, perks)
Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries
Support performance reviews, employee relations, and engagement initiatives
Assist with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance
Prepare HR reports and support ongoing HR projects

Qualifications

Required:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field




Minimum 2 years of HR or administrative experience
Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Preferred:
Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment
CPHR designation or working toward certification
Experience with HRIS, payroll, or scheduling systems
