Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards
Help with serving food to customers or guests efficiently and courteously
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces throughout shifts
Follow all food safety regulations,
including proper storage of ingredients and disposal of waste
Support the team during meal service periods by managing supplies and ensuring smooth operations
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking processes
Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Strong communication skills for effective service delivery and collaboration
Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen experience is advantageous but not mandatory
