Duties
Thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and basic ingredient handling
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and dining spaces
Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
Help with waste disposal and recycling to keep the kitchen environment tidy and safe
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use
Support hospitality staff during busy service times by ensuring cleanliness of dining areas when needed

Requirements




Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and food safety standards is a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
Valuable communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
Basic understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene practices
Previous hotel or food service experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
