Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent prospect for individuals with experience in dental assisting and a passion for patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and equipment
Familiarity with medical terminology and dental coding systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team setting
Attention to detail and robust organizational skills
Skills:
-HARP certified a must
Dental receptionist experience
CEREC experience is a plus
Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
Familiarity with medical terminology used in dentistry
