We are a growing Specialty Technical Services company seeking experienced Heat Treatment Technicians / Heat Treaters to join our team. We are focused on building a strong team culture, providing quality service to our clients, and creating long-term prospects for our people as we continue to grow.

Position Responsibilities:
Perform preheat, post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) and bake-out activities
Setup and operation of heat treatment units and associated equipment
Install heating elements, insulation and thermocouples
Monitor and record temperatures throughout heat treatment cycles
Read and follow heat treatment procedures, specifications and client requirements
Complete required heat treatment documentation, charts and records
Inspect cables, leads, thermocouples and equipment prior to use
Safely lift, carry and move heat treatment equipment, cables and materials
Climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding and access equipment as required
Work safely at heights and within industrial facilities
Perform physically demanding work associated with equipment setup and removal
Follow all company, client and site-specific safety requirements

Preferred Training & Qualifications:




Previous industrial heat treatment / PWHT experience strongly preferred
Experience operating multi-zone heat treatment units
Experience with ICE HeatView software considered an asset
H2S Alive

WHMIS
Standard First Aid
Fall Protection
Confined Space Entry
Valid driver's licence considered an asset

Location & Duration: Current opportunities are primarily within the Edmonton and Grande Prairie regions. Initial project durations are expected to be approximately 2–4 weeks, with the potential for longer-term and ongoing work as our Specialty Technical Services operations continue to grow.

Pay: $29.15-$54.03 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
