Hive Cannabis is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team in Terrace!

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, enjoys connecting with customers, and can provide knowledgeable, welcoming service in a fast-paced retail environment.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate has:
Strong weekend availability, particularly Saturday–Sunday from 5:00 PM–10:00 PM
Some weekday availability and flexibility for closing shifts
Excellent customer service and communication skills
A positive, dependable, and skilled attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
An interest in cannabis and a willingness to continue learning about products and regulations
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures
Previous retail, customer service, or cannabis experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person

Responsibilities

As a Budtender, you will:
Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
Help customers select products based on their needs and preferences




Process sales accurately through our POS system
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store
Receive and organize inventory
Follow all LCRB and store policies and procedures
Complete opening, closing, and daily store duties as required
Maintain a high standard of compliance and attention to detail
Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

Availability

Weekend evening availability is a key requirement for this position. Applicants must be available for regular shifts between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM on weekends, with some flexibility to work weekday closing shifts as needed.
