Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves assisting with the safe and effective transportation of items, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in moving or warehouse operations, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Prior experience with forklifts and commercial driving is a plus, but not mandatory. This position offers an opportunity to work in a energetic setting with a focus on safety and customer service.
Duties
Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, and other items using proper techniques and equipment
Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed (training provided)
Assist customers with their moving needs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of jobs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after moves
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries during all activities
Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management and equipment handling
Drive company vehicles for commercial transportation of goods when required
Qualifications
Previous experience in moving, warehouse work, or related fields is preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds or more)
Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus; training will be provided for qualified candidates
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities
Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards at all times
