Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is handled safely, maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene practices at all times
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas throughout your shift
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention
Support the serving staff by ensuring dishes are prepared accurately and promptly for service
Qualifications
Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and best practices in meal preparation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward learning new techniques
Experience with cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal assembly required
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
