We are seeking a motivated and skilled Excavator / Backhoe Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes to perform a variety of earthmoving tasks essential for construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
Operate excavators, backhoes, loaders, graders, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety.
Perform excavation, trenching and material handling tasks according to project specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with horizontal drilling and other specialized construction activities as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work setting for yourself and colleagues.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate work schedules and site activities.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and work performed.
Requirements
Proven experience operating excavators, backhoes, skidsteers and other heavy construction equipment.
Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
Valid driver’s license for transporting equipment or materials and own vehicle required.
Familiarity with Case & Kubota equipment is highly advantageous.
Construction experience demonstrating proficiency in earthmoving and site preparation tasks.
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
