This part-time position at MacLachlan College allows you to work closely with RECEs in providing a safe, engaging, and supportive workplace for students in need of aftercare. You'll assist with supervising activities, encouraging positive interactions amongst children, and ensuring the overall safety and wellness of students during the program’s hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist RECEs in executing the Aftercare Program effectively
• Monitor student activities indoors and outdoors
• Facilitate age-appropriate games and creative play




• Encourage respectful interactions and peer connections
• Ensure a secure and welcoming atmosphere
Requirements:
• Experience working with children beneficial but not required
• Understanding of child development principles
• Familiarity with Child Care and Early Years Act
• Possession of First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
