We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join our team in Vaughan. This is a temp-to-permanent chance. Successful candidates may be hired directly onto our payroll with advantages.
Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and organize incoming shipments.
Process receiving and shipping transactions in the computer/ERP system.
Operate forklifts safely to move and store materials.
Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Support and coordinate with pickers and material handlers when required.
Follow FIFO and proper product-handling procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
Requirements
Valid forklift experience/license for Counterbalance and Raymond Reach/Walkie.
Previous shipping/receiving experience.
Computer and ERP system experience.
Good English communication skills.
Food industry experience is an asset, particularly knowledge of FIFO and contamination prevention.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift and move materials as required.
